Who are the Barista courses for?
Our courses are designed for:
1. People looking to get a job in the coffee industry
2. For people already working in a Cafe who would like to upgrade their skills
3. Or for people who just have a keen interest in coffee and want to learn more & have a fun day immersed in the World of Coffee.
What can I expect?
Our aim is to provide a fun and relaxed environment while learning essential Coffee skills at the same time, a Galway Barista School course will cater for all.
Class sizes are no more then 4 students so the ratio of Student to Teacher is 4:1
Each person attending can expect to learn some historical points about coffee, where it comes from, how its processed etc. You will also get to work on a professional coffee machine and make the basic specialty drinks on a coffee menu, such as, espresso, americano, cappuccino, latte and flat white. For those looking to gain more experience we dive into Latte Art.
Do I need to have experience before booking a course?
No, not at all! Our Barista Basics Course is designed for those who are beginners in Coffee or for those with a very keen interest in Coffee.

How do I book a course?
