Coffee Description

A crowd favourite at Dublin Coffee Festival, Karambi is a versatile washed Rwandan that makes for a classic filter or a complex espresso!

Karambi is produced at the Karambi Washing Station, managed by four full-time employees. The coffee cherries are grown by around 1,500 smallholder farmers surrounding the washing station comprising of the Red Bourbon varietal. The cherries are processed in a classic fully washed style which emphasizes the citrus-y acidity in the cup.

As a filter, notes of spiced cookies and green grapes are prominent with a mellow citrus acidity, making for the perfect every-day drink.

As an espresso, it makes for a bright and refreshing drink, with the citrus and green grapes being the most prominent tasting notes in the cup. When combined with milk, it makes for the most delicious flat white! A must-try all-rounder coffee.
