Coffee Description
Chelbesa is sourced from the region of Gedeb, grown on a 2 hectare farm sitting at 2200 meters above sea level. Grown by a community of farmers, coffee lots grown in Chelbesa are comprised of Ethiopian heirloom varieties and are prized for their distinct floral characteristics. We chose this lot for its bright stone fruit characteristics and delicate florals.
Roasted for espresso, Chelbesa makes for a deliciously complex espresso or a bright, fruit forward flat white. In the cup, you can expect stone fruit notes of apricot and peach, floral notes reminiscent orange blossom and a bright acidity throughout.
